So I cracked open my old Teen Study Bible….
It’s just so sad to see stuff like this in a book who’s authors have selected their target market as some of the most impressionable and sensitive in the human race. It’s sickening and Christians should be ashamed to call this their “moral standard”.

In another one i read once back in the day, it rationalized that gay kids need to stay celebate and single because ‘there are kids in other parts of the world who don’t even have food or shelter, if they can still live a godly life you have no excuse.’

And higher on the page: woman’s monthly “uncleanness”, sister as a “rival wife”… Truly medieval moral.

I quickly went to see if there was any awesome justification or secondary guidance (by the author) as to why Lot of Sodom would offer his virgin daughters to the angry men of the town to stop them from sodomizing the guest angels…
Unfortunately, there was nothing. The search for gold continues!
