It’s amazing. We’ve seen it before and it won’t be long before we see it again. The religious nutbags love to spread the myth that somehow people need God to be good. This obvious falsehood is nothing more than fear mongering; a scare tactic for keeping the religi-curious from inquiry or free thought, and a feeble attempt at a smear campaign with the goal of undermining the public trust of atheists.
Is this really the tactic they want? Do these ridiculous disinformation spreaders not see the irony of their idiocy? According to their own message, the watchful eye and final judgment of an omniscient god is the only thing keeping them from daily shooting rampages. It’s as though they’re suggesting if they didn’t believe in god, they, themselves, would be psychopathic killers.
Well, to that I say: drunk words are sober thoughts… and your spirit of choice seems to be Jesus.
