Awww, how embarrassing for you.

The following photo was posted by @LoveGod50. He’s been one of two people (the other is @GodsWordIsLaw) who have been openly harassing Ricky Gervais on twitter. In response, Mr. Gervais could have responded with any number of witty and original remarks – not only is he a comedian and writer, he’s also British (aren’t they born with the dry humour handbook?).
Anyway, this is the most recent photo. I know most people, even most of the religious, don’t think this way, but let’s all laugh at it anyway. Please also feel free to send your ridicule directly to @LoveGod50 for being so scientifically inept, he may in fact be the missing link (now that would be ironic!). I truly encourage it!
(Also, just as an aside in case you aren’t sure why this is so stupid, it assumes that once someone ingests water, it is gone forever. We don’t sweat, we don’t urinate, and we don’t defecate any H2O back into the environment. What an absolutely astounding scientific statement he’s made…)

The water drawing is funny/sad, but I’m not on Twitter so I can’t make a comment.
What really disturbs me is this paragraph from MailOnline:
“The fundamentalist’s attention was then drawn to the cover of the September/October 2011 edition of New Humanist magazine, which featured Gervais in a Christ-like pose with a microphone stand and the word atheist across his chest. The tweeter was so angry that he filmed himself burning a copy of the magazine – the kind of treatment usually reserved for the American flag by radical Muslims in the Middle East.”

I question comparing burning a copy of New Humanist with burning the American flag. The comparison is faulty; burning a copy of New Humanist is book burning, not flag burning.

OMG — how unbelievably stupid! Thanks for the (incredulous) laugh!

I saw that picture a few months ago. I thought it might have been a joke.

I’ve become increasingly convinced both @LoveGod50 and @GodsWordIsLaw are just trolling. I tried playing in their ballpark, pitched ‘em some Bible verses that contradicted a lot of the negativity they exhibit but it either fell on deaf ears or was ignored. Kind of wish Ricky would stop giving them any attention at all but I guess if they are legit, showing them their ignorance COULD help long-term.

I thought it was an obvious POE. There is no way we can tell just by looking at it if it was meant to be real or sarcasm, unless the original author steps forth and admits it was a POE. That’s the point about a POE isn’t it? It is amusing that creationists are adopting it at face value.

Of course it’s POE)) I was studying together with a couple of muslim girls. We’ve chatted about creationist scientific approach in Islam a bit, and even Islamic creationists wouldn’t use math in order to prove their point. Math will always gonna stand for truth…
