		<description><![CDATA[I agree with this. I&#039;m much more impressed by religious thinkers, like Kierkegaard, who admit that the foundation of faith is irrational. 

Obviously, I disagree with his conclusion that being irrational is a virtue, but I am also critical of people like Sam Harris who think their moral choices, &#039;at its most base level&#039; are anything but arbitrary.

Rationality is about how we deal with facts and feelings, as they present themselves to us.]]></description>

I&#039;m persuaded by your previous arguments that within a specific religious context with specific assumptions (i.e. the divinity of Christ, etc.) that you can &quot;think critically&quot; about that religion.   Im not persuaded that you can think critically about your religion at its most base level and still be a believer.   I dont think you can believe that Christ was the son of god or Mohammed spoke to the Archangel Gabriel in a cave and still call that &quot;critical thinking&quot;.
