This is a real conflict, freedom of religion vs freedom from religion on public land. There should be a law put in place that wont allow a child under a certain age to be indoctrinated into a religion. This could be called child abuse as committing a child to a servitude to a god from the time they are born. If you dont like it feel free to move your family elsewhere.

Religious prayer itself has been studied and the results are conclusive. It is Unreasonable to encourage our children to spend any school time on supernatural hogwash. Unless of course they happen to be in a History, Mythology or Anthropology class.

The end times are nigh for the Catholic School Board and future students, and civilization as a whole, will be better served.

I agree; however, while there should be a separation between public education and prayer, we can’t refuse to allow Muslims in Ontario to have a designated prayer room. After all, the Ontario government gives special consideration to Catholics by giving them their own publicly funded schools. In these schools, if the bishops are to be believed, all education is influenced by prayer and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
