I personally can’t wait to hear Vickie Garrison’s talk, and also Ian Cromwell’s and Natalie Reeds. There are so many amazing subjects that I think the hardest decision is going to be deciding which talks to miss xD

In fact, there are so many topics and speakers that if one doesn’t appeal to you, there are certainly many others that will.

If you have never been to Ottawa, the capital of Canada, I would encourage you to visit. Our Parliament Buildings are magnificent in their gothic revival style and if you have time, there are many other fantastic attractions to discover.

Besides the great line up of speakers, one of the best things about this conference is meeting fellow freethinkers, humanists, atheists and skeptics. The social aspect of meeting new people, and re-connecting with friends provides some of the best memories.

I hope to see you at CFI Canada’s first “Eastern” conference. Our volunteers have worked extremely hard to make this a success and are looking forward to being your gracious hosts. When you’re here, and if you like sweets, ask them where to get a beaver tail – it’s a must do when in Ottawa – and it doesn’t involve animals!
