Jay RG: Montreal, QC

Jay RG is a nuclear engineering graduate with a soft spot for thermodynamics. He grew up in Peterborough, On, and later went to school near Toronto. After graduation, he worked for fourteen months at a nuclear reactor in the USA; but then decided to return to Canada to pursue a career in mechanical engineering and design. He has a passion for reading and writing about science and technology; specifically their influence on society. Religion and Politics also play a vital roll, as he feels that, globally, we are flirting with a very thin line (and an up hill battle) between human prosperity and self-annihilation; the goal being the former. Jason: Halifax, NS

Jason has Newfie blood but was born in BC and raised in Nova Scotia. He holds an Arts degree in Psychology (minor in History) from Saint Mary’s University along with a diploma in Radio Arts and a degree in Elementary Education. After spending two years on the radio Jason needed a change and became the elementary school teacher that he is today.

Jason is an avid reader who particularly loves the works of Chuck Palahniuk, Christopher Moore, and Cormac McCarthy. Jason also enjoys spending his time watching movies; playing his guitar and ukulele; listening to Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen bootlegs; playing touch football; and tossing paper balls for his cat to chase.

Jason lives with his wife and aforementioned cat.

Indi is Mark A. Gibbs, an engineer raised in Barbados, but currently in Burlington, Ontario and wondering why. He has worked in mechanical and electrical engineering design, programming, music and web design – in fact he can do pretty much anything except write a humble and non-self-aggrandizing bio. Born an atheist, he was raised that way and remains, like Mary, a virgin to gods. He once took an undergraduate course in philosophy, thus he considers himself an expert, so he likes to consider atheist and social issues from an analytical perspective.
