The Wednesday, August 22, Jesus and Mo cartoon, “case” was created by the author to be the first of a three part story arc. The second cartoon, “where“, was posted, out of schedule, on August 24:
The “where” cartoon is both symbolic and poignant. “Please come back” reflects the Christian expectation of the second coming of Jesus Christ, but Mo’s search for Jesus and his plea to Jesus to come back shows Mo’s keen sense of sadness and regret that by denying that there is any evidence of Jesus’ existence, Mo has lost his friend and companion.

He’s back! Here ends the story arc. Normal service will now be resumed.
